Today is Elisha and my 3 year anniversary. So I thought I'd make a special blog for her. She owns a VW bus named Oswald, and we both like little camper vans. We've been dreaming of road trips through the Southwest of the US and also driving up to Alaska, and we figure it'd be really cool and make life a bit easier to have a camper rather than just a tent. We've been looking at other people's campers and dreaming of the perfect one. We'd like a small one so that it gets good gas mileage, is easy to drive on mountain roads, and can park in most parking spaces. But at the same time, we don't want it too small b/c we want it to be large enough that you don't have to pack and unpack to get to the bed and that you can hang out and cook in it for those rainy days.
Anyways, it's just a dream at the moment, but definitely fun to dream about.
Bristol seems to have an abundance of smaller camper vans (maybe b/c of the narrow roads in the UK), so I took some photos of them here and there for Elisha. It's a random sampling of them--there's so many more in the town--but I thought it'd be fun to share a few. The photos are mainly of VW busses which Elisha loves and small camper vans, which could be perfect for road trips in the US!
