Living it up in Port Vila due to flight cancellation

3/11/20
We had a flight to Port Vila. There are no security checks with Air Vanuatu, and you don't have to show ID, can carry liquids, etc. Today as we walked up to the counter to check-in, the lady said "You must be Travis and Elisha". We always get weighed before every flight since we're on such a small plane (Because of this, I would learn that I lost 17 pounds during our time in Vanuatu). My ears were still hurting pretty bad on the flight, especially with the pressure changes on an unpressurized aircraft.

Because of a flight cancellation, we would miss our connecting flight to Tanna. Thus, Air Vanuatu put us up in a really nice hotel and gave us meal vouchers for lunch and dinner. We were picked up in private transport, and when we got to the hotel, we enjoyed a buffet lunch, then chilled in our aircon room for a bit. When it started to rain, we watched a movie, but afterwards, walked around Port Vila, including visiting the huge produce market and handicraft market. We had a red snapper meal at a fancy Italian restaurant using our voucher.

After our fancy dinner, we walked to the Ramada where we watched a really cool fire show choreographed to music on the beach!
